London, 6th September 2016: The thirteenth edition of the QS World University Rankings, compiled by global higher education think tank QS Quacquarelli Symonds, today confirms Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as the world’s best university for a fifth consecutive year.
Turkey’s Bilkent University drops out of the top 400. Bilkent University drops 26 places, and it now ranks 420th. This year’s results indicate that Turkey’s universities are falling. They are performing well for graduate employability. However, they are struggling to produce high-impact research.
